The RD 7 with its 7 guide bars is a double-bar Raschel machine for the production of spacer fabrics in fine, medium and coarse structure sizes - always according to the approved concept.

During the production of the highly-stable spacer fabrics, the fabric take-up, revised in details, guarantees a reliable tension buildup between the knitting elements. Aiming at an even more consequent flexibility of the machine, the distance between the knock-over comb bar is now infinitely variable between 3 mm and 15 mm.

The machine is destined for versatile applications nearly without any limits for complex, unconventional lappings to be produced with the utmost precision. For this purposes, the RD 7 is available in the variants Single-speed with the guide bar control by pattern disc or EL-controlled with Multi-speed.

The use of e. g. strong monofilaments in the pile, provides the spacer fabrics of the new double-bar Raschel machine with an extremely high compressive strength, especially required in the technical and semi-technical sector.
