In 1998, KARL MAYER took over the company, Rotal s.r.l., and set up KARL MAYER ROTAL.
Rotal was a family run machine manufacturer, based in Mezzolombardo in Northern Italy. It manufactured sizing machines and had been cooperating very successfully with KARL MAYER since 1992.
As part of the Warp Preparation Division, KARL MAYER ROTAL specialises in the production of sizing and assembly beaming machines for spun and synthetic yarns, and can supply total solutions for every type of yarn used in the weaving sector, from cotton to glass fibre yarns.
