Maliwatt stitch-bonded fabrics consist of unbonded or prebonded fibrous webs, stitch-bonded in part or over the entire surface by one or two stitch-forming yarn systems. The production of the composites can be completed by the additional feeding of pierced plain and/or scattered media within a wide range of thicknesses and weights per unit area. This technology is particularly characterized by a variety of variants with high working speeda and large working widths.
