In March 2004 Techtextil North America was held for the third time and notched up a small but impressive success. 4000 visitors and 288 exhibitors from 25 countries met at the Cobb Galerria Centre in Atlanta ro exchange news about the sector, to talk about projects and, naturally, to exchange product information. Now the organizers want to link this event with the 4th Techtextil North America at the same place, the same time, and only two years later. The international trade fair for technical textiles will take place from 28 to 30 March, will show innovative developments and futuristic trends, and will be accompanied by a top-class symposium.
Here 14 sessions and at least 75 presentations will give comprehensiveinformation on technical textiles. The program is based on feedback from previous events, has the aim of keeping the industry up to date as regards new developments and trends, and enjoys an excellent reputation in the sector with respect to quality and scope. Many of the innovations exhibited can be seen side by side on the territory of the fair and can be discussed in greater detail with the exhibitors. These will come predominantly from America, but also from abroad, organizing themselves in national pavilions. They will include Canada, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Portuigal, France and China.
As far as Germany is concerned, Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH will be represented by her subsidiary both there and at the fair. The information stand of the family-led traditional company will give competent advice on, among other things, multiaxial technology, weft-insertion warp knitting machines for the production of spacer warp-knitted fabrics and nets. and warp preparation machinery for the processing of industrial yarns.
This exhibition schedule from KARL MAYER and the presentations of the other exhibitors from the technical textiles and nonwovens sector will turn Techtextil North America into the shop window of a sector which promises maximum growth potential and flourishing business when the innovation dynamics are right.
