KMTC is a new abbreviation in the achievement portfolio of KARL MAYER Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH and stands for KARL MAYER TrainingsCenter. This emerges with an optimized profile from many years of successfully training students and therefore covers practical demands better still. So, from January 2006, the tried and tested warp knitting training will be presented in block form. The blocks cover one- to four-week courses in which attention is focussed on the following themes:
1. Introduction to the basics of warp knitting, abbreviation WKB
2. Fabric analysis, abbreviation WKA
3. Jacquard patterning on the pattern computer, abbreviation WKD
4. Continuation course on warp knitting machines, abbreviation WKS
5. Continuation course for multi-bar raschel machines, abbreviation WKM
The courses are held throughout the year at set times and, depending on requirements, are conducted in different languages. On offer are German and English. Training on special themes is also possible by agreement with the appropriate KARL MAYER faculties. This multi-block training programme construction with different courses improves training flexibility. Each trainee can put together his individual qualification programme on the basis of the individual courses. Recommendations as to the basis of the available previous knowledge can also be obtained from the course directors. These combine many years of teaching experience with extensive knowledge of machinery and can thus ensure a transfer of knowledge which is both practical and eventful.
Applications to attend a course can be made by telepone, e-mail, letter or fax. The direct contact for this and for answering any questions is:
