Your tasks
- Engineering and design of functional components and component groups made of fiber reinforced plastic for high-performance warp-knitting machines
- Construction of test models and prototypes
- Carrying out of basic research work
- Development of test and inspection methods for components made of fiber reinforced plastic
- Responsibility for and working on development projects even for cross-functional tasks
- Management of external development projects and design-related cooperation with companies, institutes, universities, colleges and other institutions belonging to the fiber reinforced plastic sector
- Finding potential for improvement and initiating any possibly required changes
- Supervision and support of degree dissertations, master's and bachelor theses
Your profile
- Degree in mechanical engineering (university or university of applied sciences), special emphasis: fiber reinforced plastic
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, design and application of fiber composite parts
- Special knowledge of different fiber composites (fiber reinforced materials)
- Experience in project management
- Profound PC knowledge: MS-Office, CAD (preferably CATIA V5), ANSYS as well as SAP
- Good command of English
